ELIMINATION FINAL PREVIEW by Head Coach Murray Davis
After finishing off the home and away season in style with a history winning performance against Broadbeach, we now enter the QAFL finals for the first time.
We'll be looking to create another piece of history by winning our first final. Mt Gravatt have won 7 games in a row and their last loss came against NT Thunder in Rd 10 when we tasted our first victory on the road. Whilst we respect them and fully know what they're capable of we certainly hold no fears as we look to extend our season even further.
Coming in to the squad of 26 for our Elimination Final will be Kenrick Tyrrell who missed last weekend with general soreness and was rested. Mitchel Taylor and Nathan McLean remain in the squad of 26 despite not playing last week against Broadbeach.
2 players will be omitted from the squad of 26 on Thursday after our final training session at the Gardens and the final 23 will be selected in Brisbane, the morning of the Elimination Final.
Right from our recovery session on Sunday morning after the Broadbeach game to our training sessions through the week there has been an air of excitement amongst the group and we look forward to that carrying over to our performance on Saturday.
