MESSAGE FROM THE CEO
Message from the CEO
Thank you for your support in 2012 - but the job is not done!!
This week the Northern Territory Football Club embarks on its second consecutive Northern Conference Grand Final, this time against the Brisbane Lions Reserves. An amazing achievement in itself when you consider the journey and challenges we have faced in 2012.
This season the playing group has endured over 50,000kms of air travel, three losses during the regular rounds and finally overcoming a strong Southport Sharks in the Preliminary final on the Gold Coast to earn the right to contest back-to-back Premierships for the club. The playing group and the coaching staff should be proud of their efforts to date, however knowing the competitive nature and professionalism of everyone involved at the club - the job is not finished!
On behalf of the playing group, coaching staff and the board, I would like to thank all the 2012 members who have passionately shown their support for the team this season. You are a crucial player when the team takes to the field wether you are in the grandstands wearing our club colours, watching us on Thunder Vision or following the quarter by quarter updates on facebook and twitter.
As with the players your job is not done either. During this exciting week – Grand Final Week we need your support more than ever.
How to show your support!
This Thursday night the club is holding an open training session for members and the general public to attend and show their support before the team travels to Brisbane on Saturday morning. A free sausage sizzle will be provided with training commencing at 6pm at TIO Stadium Marrara, Oval #2. Wear your Thunder colours!!
In the lead up to the game if you would like to email, text, tweet or post on facebook your words of encouragement please do. Details and addresses are provided below. I will personally deliver the messages to the players in the lead up to the game.
